The Best Beaches in Cabo for You to Check Out

Cabo has no dearth of fantastic beaches; it’s home to dozens of them! With the glimmering blue Pacific Ocean touching the shore and miles and miles of golden sand, Cabo is beach central.

While some of the beaches are known for their breathtaking beauty, others are known for the plethora of water sport activities they offer.

If you’re in town and are looking for the best beaches to visit in Cabo, check out our roundup of the top beach spots you must visit!

Medano Beach

Medano Beach is considered by many as the best main swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas. Featuring a number of beach restaurant, rentals, and surfside activities, it’s also the most tourist-frequented beach spot. With golden sand stretching alongside tequila-green clear water on the marina, the beach is a sight to behold. And with its calm and tranquil surf, it’s also ideal for swimming. The beach is perfect for water sport activities such as parasailing, kayaking, boogie boarding, jet skiing, and much more.

Lover’s Beach

While it’s not exactly a secret undiscovered lover’s cove, it is less crowded than Medano Beach. Situated at the tip of Land’s End, Lover’s Beach has towering rock formations on either side of it. The beach is good for snorkeling and kayaking, or for just laying down on your beach towel, soaking up the sun.

Lover’s Beach

Divorce Beach

Situated across Lover’s Beach, no one really knows why Divorce Beach is named so! Some locals do joke that it’s because of the rough tides encountered there. Whatever the reason for its name, the crashing waves of the beach contrast nicely with the calmer ones of Lover’s Beach. The secluded beach is ideal for a relaxing and quiet sunbathing session. But it is very dangerous to go for a swim here.

Chileno Beach

Another fan favorite Cabo beach is Chileno Beach. The water here is so crystal clear that it was even certified as a “Blue Flag” beach back in 2015 by the Foundation for Environmental Education. Offering excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities, Chileno Beach is surrounded by upscale resorts and makes for the ideal luxury getaway.

Santa Maria Beach

Santa Maria Beach is another famous Cabo beach and visitors have even spotted whales in the water there! The water is pretty clear so it’s perfect for snorkeling and acquainting yourself with the aquatic life. It’s also a great beach for safe swimming.
